Stroller StridesWhere: Arlington, Alexandria, Bethesda. D.C., Kensington, Springfield, Gaithersburg The workout consists of power walking or running with intervals of weight training with tubes such as squats, lunges, bicep curls, and abs. Stroller Strides is associated with Luna Moms playgroup and every few weeks, playgroups are scheduled after class. First class is free. I have been going to Stroller Strides weekly since Peanut was 5 months old and I have lost an incredible amount of weight. It is a fun workout that lets you choose the level of difficulty that you feel is right for you. I have attended classes at the Arlington locations, Lubber Run park and the TJ Center and I think the instructors are wonderful. They are incredible motivators and challenge you while being supportive and understanding if your baby decides stroller striding is not how they want to spend the morning. To me, going to Stroller Strides is like going to a mom’s group where I can work out. |
